Thomas Sayers, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 3, 2024 in Elyria, Ohio, United States. He was born July 8, 1941, to Melvin Sayers and Sue Sayers, (nee-McCully), and was a lifelong area resident of LaGrange, Ohio.

Thomas was married to his loving wife, Rita Sayers (nee-Dunlap), in 1961, and together they raised four children: Leanne Glowaski (Jeff), Lorinda Sayers, Nikole Blankenship (Shane), and Monica Sayers. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren, Shane, Gillian, Avery, Austin, Brady, and Cora; and great-grandson, Reid.

Thomas attended LaGrange High School and graduated in 1959. He owned and operated a milk route then went to work at Ford Motor Company, Cleveland Engine Plant, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2001.

Outside of work, Thomas had a passion for spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.

Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter Lorinda, and brother Billy.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on in their hearts forever.

Final service arrangements are to be determined.
