Thomas R. Sabota 61, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday January 18, 2014. He was born May 25, 1952 in Elyria. Tom served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from General Motors as a Fork Lift operator following twenty two years of service. Tom love spending time and playing with his grandkids. He enjoyed reading, watching TV, fishing, and throwing darts. Survivors include two daughters; Nina L. Martin and Stacy Sabota both of Elyria, three sons; Jason Zelinski of Florida, Greg Rhodes and Scott Rhodes (Valerie) both of Elyria. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren, two sisters; Patricia Gringle (Greg), Susan Girman (John) both of Elyria. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of twenty six years; Patricia A. (nee: Zelinski), his parents; Roman and Dorothy M. (nee: Bagnell) Sabota,, and two brothers; Timothy and Joseph.
