Thomas Raymond "Tom" Greene, 82, of Wakeman passed away Monday April 15, 2024 at Kingston of Vermilion. He was born September 30, 1941 in Logan, WV. And moved to Ohio in 1968 when he started to work at General Motors. He married his wife Betty in 1969 and then provided for her two Kids and their son was born the next year. Tom was a Sergeant in the Army's 82nd Airborne and was a Viet Nam Veteran. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the V.F.W. and Eagles clubs. He enjoyed golfing and watching sports. Tom retired from General Motors after 38 years of service. Tom is survived by his son, Dana Greene of Wakeman; step-daughter, Candy (Dan) Butler of Elyria; step-son, Chris (Mary) Weaver of Boston Heights; niece, Regina Sacre; grandchildren, Shawn, Ben (Kelly), Andrew (Nicole), and Elaine (Joaquin). Tom was preceded in death by his wife Betty, his parents, Richard and Reba Greene, and brothers, Danny and Jerry. Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 noon, Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
