Obituary

Thomas Earl Caudill, age 71 passed away on February 15, 2026. He was born March 11, 1954 in Pikeville, Kentucky, a place that shaped his roots and the strength he carried throughout his life. Thomas was a strong willed, yet deeply loving man, known for his warm smile and a sense of humor that could brighten even the heaviest moments. He had a natural way of making people feel safe and seen. He stood up for others without hesitation, and was always there whe4n someone needed him, steady, loyal and true. Family meant everything to Thomas, shared his life with his loving partner; Tina Duposki, and devoted father to Jessica Caudill. He also loved and embraced his stepchildren; Charles Perry, Lewis Perry, Jennifer Perry, and Tommy Duposki, as his own. He is also survived by a sister; Fae Rogers, and many beloved nieces and nephews who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters; Wanda, Judy and Donzitta, and a brother; Terry whom he now joins in peace. Thomas found joy in the things that spoke to his soul- watching eagles soar and working on vintage and hot rod cars. A natural wheeler and dealer, he loved trading cars and telling stories living life with grit, laughter, and heart. His wisdom came from experience, his strength from loyalty, and his love from an unbreakable bond with family. Though his absence leaves a deep ache, Thomas Earl Caudill will be remembered by his kindness, his courage, and the love he gave so freely. His spirit lives on in the stories he shared, the laughter remembered, and the lives he touched. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home of Elyria (440)322-4626.
