Thomas R. Barth

Thomas R. Barth 75, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio passed away Friday July 24, 2026 at Ohio Health Marion General Hospital following a long illness. He was born December 18, 1950 in Berea, Ohio. Tom had worked at The Barth Family Meat Market, and sold automobiles. He enjoyed going to auctions, where he had even worked as a clerk. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his loving wife of forty six years; Patricia “Patty” (nee: Farrell). Additional survivors include five sisters; Margaret “Peggy” Mathews (Gus), Barbara McGrath, Mary Morris, Moira Erwine (Dan), Tracy Barth, three brothers; Lawrence Barth Jr. (Sally), James Barth (Kasey), John Barth (Karen). Tom was preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence Sr. and Barbara (nee: Hahn) Barth, and a brother; Carl “Peter” Barth (Lynn). Tom requested that all services be private.
