Theresa Marie "Terri" Boyson (nee: Hintz) 81, of Elyria passed away Saturday December 21, 2024 at Devon Oaks Assisted Living in Westlake following a long illness. She was born June 29, 1943 in Elyria where she was a lifelong resident.  Terri was a member of St. Jude Church where she coached girls volleyball for eight years; was a past president of St. Jude Parents Club, PSR teacher, and Woman's Club athlete of the year; she was an avid golfer.  Terri was a loving wife, and mother who embraced spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Survivors include her husband of sixty one years; Richard M. "Dick" Boyson, a daughter; Dr. Nicole Marie Boyson of Boston, MA., a son; Richard M. "Rich" Boyson Jr. (Karen) of Hudson, OH., additional survivors include three grandchildren; Natalie, Alexandra, Sam, two sisters; Bobbie Easterday of GA., Marcia Spigiel (Dennis) of Avon, and a brother; Thomas Hintz (Maureen) of TN., nephews and nieces; Mike and Sandy, Joe and Charla , Julie and Jim, Michelle and Tom.  Terri was preceded in death by her parents; Harold and Florence (nee: Rahrig) Hintz, and a brother; Harold "Hal" Hintz. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Monday December 30, 2024 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)322-4626. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday December 31, 2024 at St. Jude Church 590 Poplar St. Elyria where The Reverend Father Joseph Scalco CSJ, Pastor will be the Celebrant.  Please meet at church.
