Theresa L. Duprey (née Comer) March 28, 1960 – July 12, 2025

Theresa L. Duprey (nee: Comer) , 65, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 12, 2025, following a long illness.

Born March 28, 1960, in Youngstown, Ohio, Theresa was known for her warm heart, deep love for her family, and simple joys. She cherished time with her children and grandchildren, treasured the holiday season—especially Christmas—and never passed up a good yard sale.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Amanda Peacher (husband Shawn) of Bradenton, Florida, and Nikki Winland (husband Don) of Warrenton, Virginia; eight beloved grandchildren; two sisters, Tammy Runyon and Margaret Keller; and three brothers, Tommy Comer, Mike McDonald, and Tracey McDonald.

Theresa was preceded in death by her son, Jason Lovejoy; her parents, Augustus Comer and Mary Jane Willis and Step Mother Margaret Price; two sisters, Amy Mastorovich and Deanna McDonald; and a brother, Lonnie McDonald.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria, Ohio (440-322-4626). Services and burial will be private at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
