Thelma M. Lowery (nee: Webber) 78, of Elyria passed away Thursday January 26, 2023 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain following a long illness.  She was born August 15, 1944 in Elyria.  Thelma worked as a registered nurse in home health care.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren at the family cottage, and enjoyed bowling, and trips to the casino.  Survivors include a daughter; Susan Brown (Lee) of West Salem, two sons; Ronald of Oberlin, Raymond (Jenny) of Wellington.  Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sisters; Anita Wheatley (John) of Grafton, Kathy Magyar (Al) of Port Clinton, and a brother; Robert Webber (Jan) of Arizona.  Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years; William, her parents; Charles and Lucille (nee: Green) Webber, and a sister; Carol Holstein.  The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Monday January 30, 2023 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday January 31, 2023.  Burial will be at LaPorte Cemetery.
