Teresa L. Van Meter, (nee-Anderson), 67, of LaGrange passed away Friday June 22, 2018 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a long illness. She was born December 16, 1950 in Fleming, KY. And was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Teresa worked as a seamstress at Invacare for 24 years, and enjoyed camping, cooking, attending car shows and was an animal lover. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, David; daughter, Rebecca (Ken) Ayers; grandchildren, Christian, Jacob, Tara, Stephen, Matthew and Kenny; 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Jobb. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 28, 2018 in the funeral home. The Rev. Chris Greene will Officiate. Burial will at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
