Susan C. Bungard, (nee-Hawke), 72, of Elyria passed away Sunday January 12, 2025 at her home.

She was born July 15, 1952 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria area resident.

Sue worked in administration at the Ridge Tool Company for 44 years, retiring in 2014. She enjoyed dining out and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Edward "Ed"; step-daughters, Kelli (Todd) Hicks, Elisa (Andy) Stoner and Melody (Matt) Enfield; 5 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Jacquline (nee-Kolbe) Hawke.

Friends will be received Friday 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday January 18, 2025 in the funeral home. The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate.

Burial will follow at Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
