Sue Jo Schubert (nee: Houts) 73, of Elyria passed away at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center of Tuesday November 16, 2022 following a short illness. She was born June 23, 1949 in Cleveland. Sue enjoyed riding motorcycles, swimming, cooking, and loved her cats and dogs.   Survivors include her husband Dennis Schubert whom she married December 4, 1971, a daughter; Rhonda Keim (Joe Mangello) of Elyria, a son; Sean Schubert of Elyria, and three grandchildren; Chris Schubert, Kara Keim, and Paige Keim. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; Arthur Henry and Winifred Eckhart (nee: Anderson) Houts.  All services are private.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home of Elyria (440)322-4626.
