Stuart P. Saddler 62, of Elyria passed away Saturday August 12, 2023 at Cardinal Court in Strongsville following a long illness.  He was born June 6, 1961 in Cleveland.  Stuart was a 1979 Elyria Catholic High School graduate; he earned an Associate degree in Accounting from Lorain County Community College, and a Bachelor degree in Accounting through Bowling Green State University. Stuart worked for many years as a business accountant, and his last position was as a Consultant for Inglewood Associates Inc. He was a dedicated husband and father, and was often involved with his children and their sports.  Stuart also held a private pilot license.  Survivors include his wife of thirty five years; Ellen (nee: Herberger), two daughters; Sarah A. Saddler (Kyle) of Elyria, Natalie S. Saddler of Elyria, two sons; Stephen R. Saddler (Brooke) of Fairview Park, Michael M. Saddler (Chloe) of New York City.  Additional survivors include a sister; Bonnie Saddler-Jefferys (Charles) of Dayton, and a niece; Becky Parker (Nathan) of Dayton.  Stuart was preceded in death by his parents; Howard M. and Virginia L. (nee: Dague) Saddler, and a brother Andrew Saddler. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday August 19, 2023 at The Weigand Room at St. Mary Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM immediately following visitation at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH 44035. The Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be private. Stuart's family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Stuart's memory be sent to The Alzheimer's Association 23215 Commerce Park Suite 300 Beachwood, OH 44122 or to The St. Mary School Endowment Fund.
