Steve Nagy Jr., 93, of Elyria Township passed away Thursday November 5, 2020 at the Elyria Wesleyan Village after suffering from the COVID 19 Virus. He was born March 3, 1927 in Lorain and was an Elyria Township resident for most of his life. Steve worked at the United States Steel Company in Lorain as a crane operator for many years, retiring in 1986. He served in the United States Army during W.W. II and enjoyed bowling, golfing and bird watching. Survivors include his wife Louise; daughter, Deborah (Jeff) LaVigne; son, Stephen (Melissa) Nagy; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kristopher LaVigne in 2004, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 10, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, where members of the V.F.W. Post 1079 will conduct full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League 8303 North Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria.
