Steve Livchak Jr. 94, of Elyria passed away Monday March 4, 2013 at EMH HealthCare in Elyria following a brief illness. He was born October 1, 1918 in Sheffield Township. Steve served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a pipefitter who retired following fifty six years of service with Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #42 in Norwalk. Steve was a member of American Legion Post# 30 in Lorain; he enjoyed bowling, gardening, and raising flowers. Steve is survived by his wife of fourteen years; Shirley A. (nee: Glatz), four daughters; Mary Ann Livchak of New York, NY, Paulette Martin (Jim) of TX, Ellen Rebok of Lorain, Karen Dee (Tom) of Strongsville, four sons; Alan Livchak of Sheffield Lake, Dennis Livchak (Donna) of Sheffield Lake, Alan Hall (Alana) of Lorain, Bryan Hall (Betty) of NC, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by a wife; Dorothy R. (nee: Biltz), a son; Craig Hall, his parents; Steve Sr. and Anna (nee: Sunsiak) Livchak, three sisters; Stella Neiding, Julie McIntire, Mary Wersch, three brothers; Wasyl, Pete and Harry Livchak. Post 1079 will provide full military honors.
