Stephen "Sonny" Theodore Molly, Jr., 80, of Elyria, passed away at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He graduated from Ashtabula High School and DeVry University in Chicago. Stephen worked for Honeywell and later Bull Information Systems. He went on to work and retired from Lorain Music. After being bored at home he went to work at AutoZone delivering parts and retired from there on May 26, 2023 after 13 years. He loved Nascar, Cleveland Indians, listening to the oldies, and the Christmas Story movie. Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl (Roger) Fleming; son, Stephen S. Molly; sister, Margie (Dave) Hoke; grandchildren, Lindsay (Chris) Setzer, Courtney Cash, Megan Wysocki, Amber Wysocki, Alex (Mari) Molly; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Gabe, Kinsley and Kashlyn. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Rose Molly, on February 1, 2022, and his daughter, Deborah Cash. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Elyria United Polish Club, Upstairs 1501 Middle Ave. Elyria, Ohio 44035.
