Stephen E. Krupar, 94, of Oberlin passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at his home. He was born September 23, 1928 in Cleveland. Stephen worked for over 40 years as a shipping clerk for Gas Flux. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Stephen was a member of the American Bowling Association. Survivors include his sister, Veronica Irelan of Bellevue; sister-in-laws Martha (Andrew) Krupar of Nova and Rosemary (Richard) Krupar of Oberlin; 25 nieces and nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa (nee Alten);  parents, Michael and Mary Krupar (nee Guba);sisters, Helen Gerlak; brothers, Michael, John, Andrew, Martin and Richard; half brother, Joseph; half sisters, Mary and Ann. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Funeral Mass 10 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 512 N. Main St. Wellington, OH 44090 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery., where full military honors will be provided by VFW post # 1079.
