Stephen James Mrazik, 53, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 16, 1969 in Cleveland and was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Stephen was a plant manager for the Auto Bolt Co. He was an avid fisherman, loved old cars, hot rods, his dog Bailey, but most especially he adored and loved his grandson Aiden. Stephen had a big heart, who truly loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda (Timothy) Gibson; son, Stephen Mrazik;  grandson,, Aiden Gibson; mother, Darlene Mrazik (nee Jones); sisters, Cathy (Chuck) Schneider, Debbie Mrazik. He was preceded in death by his father Stephen Mrazik. Family will receive friends 3-7 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Rev. Fr. Charles Ryba will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens (Avon).
