Stephen B. Glass 57 of Elyria passed away Tuesday June 3, 2014 following a lengthy illness at Main St. Care Center of Avon Lake. He was born February 20, 1957 in Oxford, England. Stephen was a veteran of the United States Army. He had a love for sports especially Nascar. Survivors include his wife Barbara (nee Hughes) of Elyria , daughter Brooke of Elyria , grandson Jailen, mother Sylvia (nee Ott), sisters Lorraine Roach of Elyria , Stephanie Martin of Elyria , Judy Triplett of Minnesota ,brothers Wayne of Elyria ,Delmar V. Ott Jr., uncle to many. He was preceded in death by his fathers Loran Glass and Delmar V. Ott Sr., son Brandon , brother Thomas and nephew Steven Hill. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday June 10,2014 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (at St. Rt. 57) where funeral services will be held 10AM Wednesday in the funeral home.. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
