Shirley M. Steele (nee Duncan), 78, of Elyria passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. She was born November 12, 1943 in Lorain, OH and was a graduate of Clearview High School. Shirley was a loving, kind and sweet person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved Elvis, but especially loved being with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Laura (Marcus) Gatlin, Lisa (Robert) Gill; son, Kennith Steele; grandchildren, Robert (Jessica) Gill Jr., Holly (Ryan) Lattimer, Brittany Gatlin, Melissa Gatlin, Meredith (Christopher) Weiksner, Ashley Gatlin, Dylan Gill; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Karen Smith, Barbara Sizemore, Debra Briggs; brothers, Ronald Duncan, John (Barbara) Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel Duncan (nee Merrifield); brothers, Donald, James, Richard, Larry and Gary. There will be no visitation or services. Burial private.
