Shirley M. Runyon, age 82, of Columbia Station, passed away on June 2, 2023 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange.  Shirley was born on December 19, 1940 to parents Adrian and Ruth (nee: Shroyer) in Elyria. She was a graduate of Midview High School and worked at Center Ridge Lanes as a manager. She enjoyed bowling, cross-stitching, cooking, baking, and collected carousel horses as a hobby. Survivors include her daughters, Barb (Dan) DeLaney, Diahann Runyon; sons, Jeff (Lisa), Doug (Tammy), and Scott; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Marty; sisters, Marion Cleckner, Clarabelle, Lucy, Roberta, and Laverne Read. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd (at State Rt. 57) in Elyria. Burial will follow after service at LaPorte Cemetery.  Pastor Arik Borstadt from Community of Faith United Church of Christ will officiate.
