Shirley A. Dawson (nee King) 91 of Grand Blanc, Michigan formerly of Elyria and Dublin , Ohio passed away Thursday September 24, 2015 at Genesys Hospital in Michigan. Shirley enjoyed playing cards , travel , quilting , bowling and spending time with family. She went to M.B. Johnson school of nursing and became a RN. Shirley was also a member of Rebekahs. Survivors include her daughter Marcia (Patrick) Wall of Dublin, Oh. , sons Wayne K. (Karen) of Flint, Mich. , and John S. of Dublin, OH., 4 grandchildren , 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Charles, parents Thomas and Anna (nee Jenkins , and 2 sisters. Family will receive friends 4-7PM Monday September 28,2015 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
