Shawn K. Stevens, (nee-Baxter), 55, of Elyria passed away Saturday December 28, 2019 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center following a long illness. She was born July 22, 1964 in Baltimore, MD. And was an Elyria resident for the past 21 years. Shawn was the former owner of Perfect Plus Cleaning Company and enjoyed gardening and walking in the Lorain County Metro Parks. Survivors include her long time companion, Mark; daughters, Jenessa Eller, Robin Eller, Audrey Brandt and Carol Shaffer; 7 grandchildren; mother, Bonnie Sorensen; sister, Erin Scaggs; brother, Ricky Baxter. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Baxter. The family will receive friends on Monday January 6, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Nathan Russell, pastor of the Washington Avenue Christian Church will Officiate. Burial will be at Nova Cemetery, Nova.
