Shauna L. Fees, 49, of Elyria passed away peacefully at her home after a lifelong battle with a congenital heart defect on September 24, 2021. She was born October 29, 1971 to Wallace and Shirley (Lacko) Fees and grew up in Grafton, graduating from Midview High School in 1989. Shauna was known for her infectious smile and her kind and generous spirit. She loved to cook the outrageous recipes she learned from watching Food Network and doing crafts including painting and woodworking. She had a passion for caring for animals including her dogs, Mary, Charlie, Stitch and Bella, and cat King. She loved nothing more than being with family and doting on her son, her niece and nephews, grandkids, and her great-nieces, Elliana and Aria and great-nephew, Austin. Survivors include her husband, Kreig Byers; her son, Jerome Bishop Fyffe and future daughter-in-law, Alexis Folley; her parents, Wallace and Shirley Fees; her sisters, Michele (Kevin) Hicks of Grafton, Kerry (Todd) Fees of LaGrange, and Christa Fees of Aurora, CO. Additional survivors include her step-sons, Donovan (April) Byers and Kreig (Kayla) Byers; step-grandchildren, Donovan, Ayanna, Alaiyna, Shay, and Emma; niece, Brittany (Tony) Johns; nephews, Cameron (Emily) Fees, Anthoni (Mileigh) Horton, Jordon (Christian) Dartis, Cole Hicks, Brock (Sydney) Cooper, and Conner Fees. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4PM until time of service at 6PM Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
