Shaun Boe Chaffin, 37, of Elyria passed away Friday November 18, 2016 at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born July 24, 1979 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Survivors include his daughter, Paige Chaffin; son, Logan Chaffin; parents, Boe and Carla (nee-Harlow) Chaffin; sister, Jackie Babb; brother, Dusty Chaffin; uncle and aunt, Dwane and Toni Harlow; nephews, Derrick (Janeva) Thompson and Cody Grizzell; niece, Destiny Patchin. The family will receive friends Wednesday November 23, 2016 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.
