Sharon Kay Bruce (nee Bridge), 80, of Elyria passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sharon raised seven children and served as a homemaker. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, Cleveland Browns, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Kim Shreffler (Bob Ballou), Candy Weese (Denny Drake); sons, Jeff Weese (Michelle), Tom "Cork" Weese, Scott (Carrie) Weese, Chris (Michelle) Weese, and Brett Bruce; grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan, Justin, Korin, Emily, Sharon, Kelsey, Leah, Jordan, Logan, Lee, Abbey, Sage, Paige, Brandon, and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bruce, long-time companion Terry Hutchison; mother, Elise McVegh; brother, Gary Reedy. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
