Sandra L. Smith, (nee-Klamut), 69, of Grafton passed away Sunday October 21, 2018 at her home following a brief illness. She was born September 10, 1949 in Lakewood and was a Grafton resident for most of her life. Sandy worked at the Kohl's Department Store at the Westgate Shopping Plaza for 18 years, retiring as a visual display supervisor. She was an avid scuba diver and dog agility handler with her canine companions, Murphy, Maverick and Slider. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James "Jim"; daughters, Stephanie (Scott) Blanchard and Michelle Nolty; grandchildren, Matthew and Olivia; sister, Beth Seybert, and a brother, Dave Seybert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Florence Klamut and a brother, Mark Klamut. The family will receive friends Saturday October 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a brief prayer service at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
