Sandee S. Rigg (nee: Palm) 74, of Birmingham, AL (formerly of Elyria) passed away December 5, 2017 in Pall City, AL following a short illness. She was born April 21, 1943 in Elyria. Sandee was a 1961 Elyria High School graduate (the girl with the convertible Chevy Bel Air), she had worked for Elyria Molding and Engineering, and Milford Rivet. Sandee moved to Charlotte, NC in 1984 then to Birmingham, AL in 1996. She enjoyed working as a real estate agent, traveling with family, and was an avid reader. Sandee loved her cat. Survivors include her husband of forty three years; Michael R. Rigg, a sister; Rita K. Pennington (Dan) of Grafton. Sandee was preceded in death by her first husband in 1971; Larry M. Frame, her parents; Alto and Juanita (nee: Nicolls) Palm. A Celebration of Sandee's Life will be 1:00 PM Saturday January 27, 2017 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until time of services at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Twp.
