Sally A. Richards (nee: Cole) 70 of Elyria passed away Sunday December 10, 2017 at Mercy New Life Hospice following a brief illness. She was born April 20, 1947 in Wheeling, WV. Sally treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter; Jennifer M. Morgan (Bret) of Elyria, a son; Christopher M. Richards of Elyria. Additional survivors include five grandchildren; Sierra, Madilyn, Madison, Grayson, Branson, a sister; Bonnie Jean Tyras of Rochester, OH., a brother; Carl Cole (Marsha) of Orville. Sally was preceded in death by her husband of twenty two years; Gerald J. Richards, her parents; Earl Sr. and LaVonda (nee: Hooker) Cole, two sisters; Garnett Meagle, Esther Cole, and a brother; Earl Cole Jr. A Celebration of Sally's life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday January 6, 2018 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where the family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of services at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
