Sadie Branch-Arnold, (nee-White), 98, of New London passed away Friday June 19, 2015 at The Laurels of New London following a long illness. She was born June 9, 1917 in Rita, WV. And was a Elyria area resident for most of her life. Sadie was a member of the Lowell Street Baptist Church in Elyria and the Ladies Auxlliary of the church. Survivors include her sons, Edwin R. Gore of New London and David Branch of Zanesville; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie of Florida; brother, Jack White of Wakeman. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Gore, second husband, William Branch, third husband, Emerson Arnold, daughter, Sue Turner, sons, Bob and Joe Branch, sisters, Bell, Lilly, Lois, Stella, Thelma and Patty, brothers, Ray, George, Andrew, Orrville and Willard White. The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Lowell Street Baptist Church 642 Lowell St., Elyria; Services will be Friday June 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Edwin R. Gore, Sadie's son, will Officiate. Burial will be at Smith Chapel Cemetery, Center Township, OH. In liue of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lowell Street Baptist Church.
