Ruth A. Kasper, (nee-Machovina), 76, of Elyria passed away Sunday June 19, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born August 21, 1945 in Cleveland. Ruth graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in 1963 and graduated from Hammel College as a Medical Assistant in 1985. She retired from EMH Regional Medical Center after 25 years as an Operating Room Assistant. Ruth enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, shopping , lunch with her friends, holidays and spending time with family. Survivors include her daughter, Denise Parziale (Patrick) and 3 sons; Kevin England, Darren England and Anthony England and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Kasper and her parents, Cyril and Blanche Machovina. The family will receive  friends Monday June 27, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for a memorial visitation at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
