Ruth M. Goldstone, (nee-Hofrichter), 96, of Grafton passed away Monday March 5, 2018 at her home following a brief illness. She was born June 12, 1921 in South Euclid and was an Elyria/Grafton resident for many years. Ruth worked as a cashier at the University Circle in Cleveland and enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Maureen Shutts; son, Myron (Sharon) Goldstone; grandchildren, Robin Woodman; Deborah (John) Yasosky and Michael (Denise) Goldstone; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Robert Shutts, mother, Elsie Presley, father, Albert Hofrichter; sister, Virginia Jones and brother, Albert Hofrichter. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. on Monday March 12, 2018 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate. Burial will be at Knollwood Cemtery, Mayfield Heights. Memorial Contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice..
