Russell D. Younglas, 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was born in Cleveland on October 5, 1941 to parents Russell and Dorothy (nee: Humpal) Younglas. He was a 1959 graduate of Westlake High School. After high school at the age of 19, he suffered a work injury that left him partially paralyzed when working as an apprentice carpenter. Although the incident provided him with some setbacks, he was able to live a fulfilling life with many wonderful memories. Survivors include his sisters, Carolyn Alexander, Maralyn Glendenning; nieces, Tracy (Chris) O'Barr, Lisa Alexander (Kevin Madzia), Jennifer (Chris) Pollack, and Kimberly Campbell. Russell is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Patricia (nee: Keane) and nephew, BJ Campbell. A private burial will take place at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
