Russell C. MacNeal, 76, of Grafton passed away Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital following a brief illness. He was born October 24, 1945 in Oberlin and was a lifelong Grafton resident. Since 1969, he was the owner of the Underwater Dive Center Inc. in Elyria. He dived worldwide, was a member of the Elyria Moose Lodge and enjoyed shooting pool and boating. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Susan (nee-Rhodes); daughter, Courtney (Brian) Casper and a granddaughter, Cheslea. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday November 21, 2021 at The Underwater Dive Center 42551 North Ridge Rd., Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Paw and Order Rescue Ranch 4251 North Magnolia St. Loxley, AL. 36551.
