Ruby A. Larson, (nee-Tankersley), 82, of Elyria passed away Friday April 21, 2023 at her home following a long illness. She was born February 3, 1941 in Lynchburg, TN. And was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Ruby was a very active member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Elyria where she was a member of many organizations and volunteered for various fundraisers. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Gary) Miranda-Larson and April (Darin) Butcher; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Larson in 1996, 6 sisters and 5 brothers. The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 27, 2023 at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar St. Elyria. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). The Rev. Fr. Frank P. Kosem will be the Celebrant.
