Ruby E. Davis, (nee-Horner), 94, of Elyria passed away Thursday April 27, 2023 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community in Lorain. She is preceded in death by her husband Okey in 2005, a son and a daughter. Survivors include a daughter and several grandchildren. Ruby was born January 7, 1929 in Helfenstein PA. and was an Elyria resident since 1941. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing and quilting with a love of cooking and gardening. She will be remembered lovingly. Friends will be received in the chapel at Brookdale Cemetery on Friday May 5, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to any local animal shelter.
