Roy Leo Marty 78, of Amherst passed away Saturday May 21, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain following a long illness. He was born May 18, 1938 in Mineral Wells, WV. Roy served in the U.S. Air Force, and had worked as an automotive mechanic. He enjoyed NASCAR, and working on motors. Roy is survived by his wife of twenty four years; Peggy J. (nee: Trewella). He was preceded in death by his parents; George Leo and Gertrude (nee: Leach) Marty, and a sister; Annie Overy. All funeral services are private.
