Obituary

Roxanna Lee Shepherd, of LaGrange, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of Friday, November 21st, 2025.

Born and raised in Ohio, Roxanna graduated from Wooster High School in 1995 before earning her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Lorain County Joint Vocational School in 2014. A fighter in every sense, she courageously battled and beat both ovarian and cervical cancer—an incredible testament to her strength, resilience, and will to live.

Roxanna was the vibrant heart of every room she entered. Eccentric, funny, and always the life of the party, she had a rare gift for making people feel seen and supported. She loved fiercely and fully—showing up without hesitation whenever someone needed her. She was the type of person who would drop everything in a moment's notice to be there for the people she cared about.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a deeply devoted mother and grandmother who never stopped talking about how proud she was of her children and her grandson. She especially loved watching Silas play basketball and other sports, always cheering him on as his loudest and most enthusiastic supporter.

Roxanna also shared her life with her loyal dog, Gizmo, who was always by her side. She loved traveling, especially to Florida, and often dreamed of living somewhere warm and sunny. Music, particularly Pink, brought her joy, and Sundays were reserved for cheering on her beloved Cleveland Browns as one of their most devoted fans.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Haven, her father, Earnest Potts and her brother Dennis (Bubbles) Henry. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Darin; her children, Cheyanne and Tyler; her grandson, Silas; and her brothers, Mickey, Mikey, Butch, and Nick. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, devotion, strength, and unforgettable spirit. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who loved her.

A celebration of Roxanna's life will be held in her honor on Saturday, December 6th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wellington Eagles, 631 S. Main St., Wellington, OH 44090.
