Ross C. Stazzone, 83, passed away at the Avenue Care and Rehabilitation Center in North Ridgeville on September 26, 2022. Ross was born in Cleveland on April 13, 1939 to parents Sam and Mary Stazzone (nee Rizzo). He was employed as an Ohio Corrections Officer for over thirth years. He was also a roofer and worked at Brown Fintube. He was a lifetime member of the Black River Game Club, Wellington Eagles, Izaak Walton League of Wellington among other hunting, gun and sporting groups. Survivors include his sons, Aldino (Sharon), Salvatore "Tory", Shawn Stazzone; sister, Denise Stazzone; brother Salvatore "Sam" Stazzone; former wife, Lynn DeWitt , grandchildren , Nick, Gina, Summer (Dave) Laggan, Devin, Shawna, Tianna, Santino,, ; great-grandchildren, Dani, Noah, Leilani; nieces, Ann Marie, Angie, Barbie, Ashley; and nephew, Kevin. There are seven great nephews and five great nieces. Ross is preceded in death by his parents; Sam and Mary; brother, Joe; sister, Marilyn; nephews, Michael and Brian. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1-5 PM at Izaak Walton League, 21334 Foster Rd., Wellington.
