Rosemary Ann Lear (nee O'Connor), 86 of Elyria passed away Monday April 10, 2017 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin following a brief illness.She was born June 27, 1930 in Lakewood and was a 1948 graduate of Elyria High School. Rosemary loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, ceramics, plants, painting, traveling and football. Survivors include her daughters Ruthann Brown of Elyria, Bonnie (Mark) Ripley of Elyria, Vivian Lowery of LaGrange; sons James (Linda) of Elyria, Jeffrey (Karen) of Vermilion; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Geraldine (Wayne) Diederich of Columbia, Connecticut, JoAnne (John) Scott of Oberlin; brother James (Helen) of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Marie (nee Ursem); brothers Edward and Richard.
