Rosemary "Rosie" Berg, (nee-Nagy), 78, of North Ridgeville passed away Friday August 11, 2017 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake following a brief illness. She was born January 4, 1939 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria area resident. Rosie was employed by MBF Dog Shows as a superintendent for 20 years, retiring in 2016. She was a member of the North Ridgeville United Church of Christ and the North Ridgeville Republican Club. She served on the North Ridgeville City Council for many years, and was council president for 10 years. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Harry; daughter, Terri Bacsi; son, Tab (Nadine) Berg; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Berg; grandchildren, Tyler, Noah and Gavin. She was preceded in death by her son Timmy Berg in 2008 and a sister, Shirley Johnson. There will be a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. Saturday September 2, 2017 at the North Ridgeville United Church of Christ 36363 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Erik Borstad will Officiate.
