Obituary

Rosemary C. Jarven (nee: Alflen) 94, of North Ridgeville passed away at home on Sunday September 18, 2022.  She was born October 9, 1927 in Harrisburg, PA.  Rosemary was a 1945 North Ridgeville High School graduate, and attended Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton.  She loved to travel, and went as far as Ayres Rock in Central Australia.  Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, reading and working puzzles. "TWO CROWS JOY!" Survivors include two daughters; Linda Jarven and Ann M. Jarven (Dave), a son; Daniel P. Jarven (Trudie), additional survivors include five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of thirty nine years; Anthony, two daughters; Claudia Slisko (Bill), Mary Thrasher Trisch, her parents; Claude and Frances (nee: Kirk) Alflen.  A Mass of Christian of Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday September 24, 2022 at St. Peter Catholic Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039 where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until Mass at 10:30AM. The Reverend Father Charles J. Ryba will be the Celebrant.  The family suggests that memorial contributions in Rosemary's memory be sent to Our Lady Queen of Peace Mortgage Reduction Fund 708 Erie St. Grafton, OH 44044.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home of Elyria (440)322-4626.  Online condolences to the family may be expressed at www.laubentnhalmercado.com
