Ronald Dean Richmond 61, of Eaton Township passed away peacefully on Sunday November 23, 2025 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a long illness.  He was born in Cleveland, and had served in the United States Army.    Ron treasured spending time with his family and friends, he was a Master Mason, and enjoyed hunting.  Survivors include his loving wife of forty years; Vickie J. (nee: Arrendale), a sister; Brenda Fox (Brian) of Parma, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ron was preceded in death by his daughter; Holly A. Richmond, his parents; Terrence and Bernice (nee: Fanin) Richmond, and a brother; Richard Richmond.  The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday December 6, 2025 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)322-4626 where a celebration of Ron's life will be held at 1:00 PM immediately following visitation. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be private at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township. Ron's family suggest that memorial contributions in Ron's memory be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
