Ronald H. Forster,81, passed into the loving arms of Jesus August 5 at Ames Family Hospice of the Western Reserve after a 15 month battle with Lymphoma. A man of few words, he was known for his integrity, courage and generosity. He graduated from Strongsville High School and Baldwin Wallace College. Ronald served 2 years in the United States Air Force as a surveyor with a brief time in Vietnam. He was a computer programmer for GE, Electron, Inc., Gilford Industries and all its future owners. He was active in his church serving as treasurer for 17 years, cooking monthly men's breakfasts and Easter breakfasts. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and gardening. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 53 years Lee (nee Meyer); sons Michael (Katina), Brian (Tara),; grandchildren, Justin, Carlie, Brandy, Ian and Colin; sister Elaine (Ken) Heinzman; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be at Community United Methodist Church 680 Abbe Rd. N., Elyria 11 AM Saturday, September 17, 2022, with a fellowship lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CUMC, the Lymphoma society or Ames Family Hospice of the Western Reserve.
