Ronald "Ron" Clayton Anderson, 87, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at The Avenue at North Ridgeville. He was born in Richmond, Maine on July 18, 1936 to parents Alfred W. and Gladys R. (nee Small) Anderson. Ron proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. He married his sweetheart, Etta (nee Clem) Anderson on November 5, 1964. He worked for 30 years at Ford Motor Company as a final inspector. Ron enjoyed motorcycle riding, deer hunting, fishing, blue grass and country music. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Ronetta Lynn Garrett, Tamara Denise (Ron) McCartney; son, Lawrence Paul (Jeanne) Anderson; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Irving Anderson and sister, Maxine Roberta Merritt. All services will be private.
