Romayne M. Gast (nee: Rindahl) 76, of Elyria passed away Thursday April 26, 2012 at EMH Healthcare in Elyria following a short illness. She was born August 16, 1935 in Fergus Falls, MN. Romayne had worked as a waitress at The Holiday Inn of Elyria for forty two years. Survivors include two daughters; Bonita Langham (Michael) of Miamisburg, OH, Pamela Machovina (David) of Elyria, a son; Douglas A. of Elyria. Additional survivors include three granddaughters; Candace, Jessica, Allison and a great granddaughter; Isabella, three sisters; Beverly Runnigen of Battle Lake, MN, Arlene Nelson of Frazee, MN, Mavis Fosse of Istanti, MN, a brother; Dennis Rindahl of WI. Romayne was preceded in death by her husband; Alvin, a daughter; Kimberly Burgett, two sisters; Donna Rochall, Phyllis Schmaus, a brother; Larry Rindahl, and her parents; Melvin and Amy (nee: Hanson) Rindahl.
