Rolland H. "Rollie" Green Jr. 77, of Elyria passed away Friday July 14, 2017 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born April 21, 1940 in Sandusky, Ohio. Rolland worked for Independent Oil & Tire for 27 years and also worked for Signs and Ship. He was a Boy Scout Leader , enjoyed fishing and viewing nature. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Carol (nee Shay); son Michael Allen (Jeanne) of Columbus; grandchildren Kelly Ann and Christopher Frank Jr. Songer; great-grandchildren Izabella Rose and Logan Songer; sister Margaret (Raymond) Olah of Reynoldsburg. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday July 21, 2017 at Ridgehill Memorial Park (Amherst Twp.). Rev. Kevin Coleman will officiate.
