Roland F. Vinoverski, 83, of Grafton, passed away peacefully at Ames Hospice in Westlake on July 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Elyria to parents Francis and Florence Vinoverski (nee: Wolf) on June 15, 1939. He graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in 1957 and later married his sweetheart, Loretta Komzak, in 1961. Roland worked for over 30 years at AT&T as a lineman. Along with being an avid golfer, he enjoyed skiing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. After retiring, he took a part time job at Creekwood Golf Course cutting the greens. He was a member of the United Polish Club in Elyria. Survivors include his daughters; Julie (Alan) Gauvreau and Cindy (Chris) Finke; brother, Louis Vinoverski; grandchildren, Kelly (Ben) Stone, Lauren (Nathan) Siebenaller, and Hailey (fiancée Jim Berdysz) Gauvreau. He is preceded in death by his wife and brother Gerald. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM following visitation at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie Street, Grafton, OH. 44044. The Reverend Father John Seabold, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Grafton. Memorial contributions may be a charity of donor's choice.
