Roger Summers Sr. 70 of North Ridgeville passed away Thursday January 21, 2016 at his residence following a short illness. He was born March 24, 1945 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Roger served his Country in the Army . He enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Deanna (nee Ledyard) , daughters Lori (Rick) Schlenkerman of Elyria , Vicki (Dondi) Rowe of North Ridgeville , sons Roger Jr. and Greg (Trisha) both of Wakeman , mother Margie Marie Summers (nee Carroll) , grandchildren Jeanne Schlenkerman , Joshua Rowe , Joseph Rowe , Amanda Summers , Todd Schlenkerman , Jachob Rowe , Nicholas Summers , Nathan Summers and Kailey Summers, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Patricia Freligh of Sheffield Village , Barbara (Dale) Kuzak of Elyria , step-father Levi "Bud" Sell of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his father Erra , and brother Ronald.
