Rodney R. Pelc, 60, of Elyria passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer. He was born April 30, 1957 in Toledo. Rodney worked for K auto works as a body repairman. He enjoyed bowling, camping, animals, enjoyed his job, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 36 years Kelli ( nee Nehring); sons Bradford (Amanda) and Robert (Michelle Lash) both of Lorain; grandchildren McKenna, Parker and Chase; sister Judy Roberts of Waterville,OH.,; brothers Ronald of Perrysburg,OH., Randy (Aida) of Shanghai, China.; father-in-law James Nehring( Doris Hardman); brother-in-law Jesse Nehring; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Jean Pelc (nee Honisko); brother John; mother-in-law Eva Nehring.
