Rodger Paul "Doc" Novak, 68, of Elyria passed away Wednesday , October 11, 2017 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital Main Campus. He was born April 22, 1949 in Amherst.Rodger enjoyed hot rods, Nascar, motorcycle racing, circle track, fishing, camping but especially enjoyed being with family and friends. Rodger was the owner of N & N cycle and RPM trucking. Survivors include his wife of 25 years Paula (nee Greene); their son Matthew Novak; also 2 daughters Kimberly (Victor) Barbee, Tina (Wayne) Frazier; son Michael Novak; 2 grandchildren Victor and Devin Barbee; brother Mark (Shelley); brothers-in-law Jeffrey (Janet) Greene and Chris Greene; mother-in-law Norma Greene; nieces Lindsey (Tim) Kletski, Taylor and Halley Novak; nephews Ryan (Stacey) Novak, Cody, Jacob and Brock Greene; dear friend Justin Reed. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
